Hello Wildcats,
Just an explanation of how the
State Meets work.
For the 13 & over
championship meet, only swimmers who have achieved the Kentucky
State "A" Time in events, qualify to swim those events at the 13
& Over State Championship Meet.
For the 12 & Under
championship meet Only swimmers ages 9-12 have to qualify for the
meet by achieving the Kentucky State "A" Time in events, to qualify
to swim those events at the meet. Those swimmers, ages 9-12
that do not have those times, do not qualify for this meet.
8 & Under swimmers DO NOT
need to qualify to swim in the championship meet and we do want ALL
of our 8 & Unders to go to this meet. There is a
qualifying time for the 100 Free and 100 IM, but for all other
events, all swimmers are welcome.
